José Sócrates telefonou Luis Filipe Menezes duas vezes dando-lhe conta da abertura do PS para alterar a lei, por forma a permitir que o novo lider do PSD ascendesse ao órgão de consulta de chefe de Estado. E, no Parlamento, os lideres das bancadas do PS e do PSD conversaram com vista a uma solução.
